Hello, Disney Fans! 101 Dalmations Engagement Session
Disney's animation classic, 101 Dalmatians, has been adorably recreated by Corinne and Tony in today's engagement session! If you remember, Pongo sees Perdita at the park—and somehow finagles his way into getting his master, Roger, to meet Perdita’s owner, Anita. What a tangled mess they make and of course, everyone falls in love! Disney fans, Tony and Corinne, also love this adorable classic and decided to use it as their engagement story theme. The result is nothing short of fabulous. Most of their costumes were picked at a local thrift store and Corinne decorated her hat with felt and construction paper. Kudos to Melissa Biggerstaff of Rusty Lion Art for capturing all this sweetness. Enjoy as Corinne shares tidbits about the sesh and leading characters, and of course, their 2 other stars: Mookie and Izzy!
Engagement session location: Lake Katherine in Palos Heights, IL

Are Tony and Corinne similar to Roger and Anita?
"When I think about it, their love is simple. It wasn't magical, it was built on a relationship. While their love is undeniable, they have independence and unique personalities. They work better as a team but are not trying to fit a particular mold. Like all great things, Tony and I have a love built around relationships, not wishes upon stars."
101 Dalmations engagement theme
"I have always loved that Roger and Anita were not the typical fairy tale couple--they were believable characters who didn't just come together merely by wishing on a star and casting a magic spell. Pongo had to take the first step, but also, simply enough, dogs are the best. Izzy and Mookie, although a bit older, pudgier, and sans spots, are the greatest family pets and we wanted to make them an indelible part of our memories. With the coaxing of some treats with Mookie, they did so great!"
Will Tony and Corinne's love of fairy tales influence their wedding theme?
"We'll have to see... I favor the villains more--they have a better story to tell. Our moms, sisters, and friends have already started brainstorming shower ideas, they're thinking "Villains couture." Tony and I like the vintage feel, so that might be more prominent than the fairy tale.
So much fun! Thanks for sharing Tony and Corinne! Best wishes with the rest of your love story!
