Insanely sweet and vivacious; this stunning botanical gardens engagement shoot is the perfect match for engaged couple, Stephanie and Tyler. The talented husband and wife team at Oak and Iron Photography snapped photos of the gorgeous couple in the Milwaukee area, among trees, gorgeous foliage, the dreamy countryside, and even a downtown brewery. Stephanie shared some of the highlights of their perfect photo shoot day with us. "We first started the shoot at the Boerner Gardens where it is very lively with flowers and foliage. We then went to the downtown Milwaukee area. We strolled the river walk and stopped by the original Pabst Brewery and took pictures under the infamous sign. It was the perfect day for a photo shoot!" Their love story and save the date from MagnetStreet is as charming as ever. Stephanie found and personalized a gorgeous save the date that is a perfect match to the leafy crown she adorned for their botanical gardens engagement shoot. "I chose MagnetStreet because I know I wanted a magnet save-the-date so that our guests could stick it to their fridge and remember the date for the months leading up to our wedding. ... I could access the website by Googling save the date wedding magnets, and I was impressed with the design selection and price!" Watercolor Laurel Save the Date from MagnetStreet It's hard to believe their session is not a styled shoot ... it's so real and simply wonderful! The love between Stephanie and Tyler is perfectly captured throughout the boho-esque session. We'll definitely be crushing on their botanical gardens engagement session for a long time! "Tyler and I got engaged on December 17, 2016 while we were doing one of our favorite winter activities: snowmobiling. The trees were covered with fresh powdered snow and it was an absolutely breathtaking view. It was just him and I atop a large hill when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was perfect." "My favorite photo from the day is one where Tyler is gently kissing my forehead." Their upcoming barn wedding at the Over the Vines vineyard in Edgerton, Wisconsin, is sure to be equally as stunning as their e-session! "Our wedding colors are wine (very fitting since it's on a vineyard), grey, and white. I am incorporating a lot of flowers and greenery to make our end of the summer wedding perfect. Inside the barn, they have two gorgeous chandeliers hanging from the ceiling as well as string lights throughout to give it a very elegant feel. My florist, Heidi with Mod Bloom is helping my vision come alive and I can't wait to see how she helps piece it all together for me with her amazing talents!"
