"We were going to Hawaii for a vacation. And if I remember correctly, our photographer conveniently also wanted to check out the island and was free to go also. So we said 'hey why not!' We had a great time shooting over 2 days in a number of locations around Kauai!"

"We actually met initially in elementary school in Grade 5, so we've known each other for quite some time. I moved away for several years before returning to Edmonton for high school where we went to the same school. We had a knack for running into each other randomly over the years into university before we ran into each other again at the registration of a 1/2 marathon. We started formally dating soon after that!"

"I proposed to her at the Banff Springs Hotel (in Alberta). I put the ring and box in a little pouch I managed to sew together, and I tied it to the neck of our half shih tzu/half Havanese ... who behaved and conveniently brought it to her."
