Fall & Thanksgiving Centerpieces

As we get closer to Thanksgiving Day, I've been dreaming about how to set a lovely table with a pretty centerpiece. The key: it has to be easy as well as pretty. It's a busy time of year--so easy is a must! Here are 3 pretty and simple fall centerpiece ideas--not only for your Thanksgiving table--but for other fall parties: engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding brunch or shower. What is your favorite fall centerpiece idea?

For a rustic feel arrange fall blooms inside a birch-wrapped vase. You could realize this one by simply strolling through your backyard or a nearby park for fall foliage and then using a creative container to put them in. It doesn't have to be wrapped in birch--you can use anything with a vintage feel or woodsy touch: tin, basket, ceramic ware, other metal container.

Hurricane vase with candle: Love how warm, pretty and festive this hurricane vase feels with the candle inside and then encircled with ribbon and the fabric pine cone. It's simple and elegant at the same time. As an aside--I believe every household should have a large hurricane vase to use for table decor. Really--they're so flexible for use in centerpieces. Additional fall ideas to fill your hurricanes with: fruit, small gourds, a small potted plant, etc.

Harvest grains tied with ribbon: Here's a clever and dramatic arrangement--that stands alone. Simple, festive and easy to arrange. Looks great!
