Just a Lil Mardi Gras inspiration for y'all today...

When it comes to a Mardi Gras inspired event... you can definitely get your inspiration from outside the box. I kept it fairly low-key with this inspiration board but still... a beautiful latte-colored gown, earthy necklaces and jewel-toned button bouquets. Think shrimp creole, jambalaya and Cajun celebration. Vibrant color everywhere... Wouldn't it be really fun to have a DIY photo booth fully decked with a variety of costumes, masks, plumes and beads?

And oh. my. goodness. the music! Who knows, maybe the Neville Brothers are available.
