We're simply smitten with Vanessa and Julian's exquisite Napa Valley winery wedding ... the colors, the ambiance, the rustic elegance! Vanessa said, "We wanted our wedding to be romantic, fun and to highlight the natural beauty of Napa Valley. We picked Napa because I wanted it to be gorgeous on its own and with good wine and good food--it's the total package." Complementing the rustic beauty of the winery and playing off of Vanessa's favorite flower--coral peonies--theirs was a loose and flowing color palette. Vanessa looked absolutely stunning in her David Tutera {for Mon Cheri} gown and colorful Kate Spade royal blue flats. Highlights from the day ...
Seeing my now husband as I walked down the aisle is something I'll never forget. The Napa hills in the background and the gorgeous winery also took the romance to a new level. Then, getting to dance the night away with my friends and family was the icing on the cake. It was the best party I've ever been to!
Advice well taken ...
To enjoy the day! There were inevitable bumps in the road throughout the day but all those things paled in comparison to the joy of having all my closest friends and family with me and getting to marry my best friend.
Advice to share ...
Dream big! We considered many other options for the location of our wedding to better accommodate our guests. In the end, our dream wedding was in Napa, so we went with it and we are so glad we did. You only get one wedding; go for your dream.
The best part of the whole wedding day ...
I'd say my two favorite moments were exchanging vows and celebrating on the dance floor all night long.
Reception décor
Decorated with a mix of clear vases and gold mason jars, the long rectangular reception tables popped with beauty and color--thanks to Vanessa's mom who did the design and arrangement.
