What if the very moment you got engaged was captured in a photo? I'm talking the full on groom kneeling ... nerves ... "will you marry me?" ... big surprise proposal captured in the moment moment. {Make sense?} Well, this very surprise came to be with sweet couple, Miles and Chani!
To celebrate their birthdays, Chani said they headed up to the Smokey Mountains for a stay in an adorable cabin. As an amateur nature and wildlife photographer, she was excited to visit Cades Cove, a scenic and abundant-wildlife area within the national park. With Miles also being an outdoorsman, it was a perfect place to spend the day. After photographing lots of deer and turkey, they stopped in a spot with a perfect view of the mountains. And well, the rest is history!

"He came up to me a few minutes later asking if we should get our picture taken. There was a couple nearby taking pictures of their baby, so after he asked her to take the picture, I showed her how to use my camera and went to stand by Miles."
The Surprise Moment
"After a few seconds, he looked at me and said 'you know what would making this more perfect?' and then dropped to one knee and said a few sweet things ... including the obvious 'will you marry me?'! I had no clue he had been planning this, as you can tell by my facial expression."
We later found out that the woman taking the picture had also gotten engaged in Cades Cove a few years prior! I was so amazed with how everything fell into place. It was by far the most exciting day of my life. I couldn't be more thrilled that our adventure has finally begun!
