Hello lovelies! We have another gorgeous military wedding to share with you showcasing a stunning bride and her groom in his Air Force Mess Dress. We are in awe of ALL the gorgeous deets of Annie and Rich's Virginia Beach wedding day on the marina! Perched on the edge of scenic Rudee Inlet at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront is The Water Table. This fantastic venue offers magnificent waterfront views and an elegant backdrop for weddings of all types. Annie and Rich's wedding day is no exception! The gorgeous couple met while volunteering at yearly summer camps for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and fast-forward to St. Patrick's Day 2018 to their dreamy Virginia Beach wedding. Take in all the dazzling details of their big day, including their absolutely gorgeous wedding invite. You'll love it all! Stately Vow wedding invites from MagnetStreet Weddings:"We wanted magnets for our save the dates and MagnetStreet had the best product and deal for what we were looking for! Their wedding invitations were just as beautiful and no one could beat the price. We had a lot of compliments on our wedding invites, they were a hit!" Something borrowed & blue:"My something borrowed and blue was a beautiful pearl bracelet with a blue heart that my Great Aunt Edna was given as a gift from her late husband. She lent it to my mother as her something borrowed on her wedding day, and I was honored to wear it on my wedding day as well. Something new: "My something new was a pair of gorgeous pearl teardrop earrings from my Grandmother. It was so special to have my Grandmother with me on my wedding day and I will always cherish those beautiful earrings." The proposal:"Rich proposed to me on the day I graduated from Physician Assistant school. He walked up on stage while I was getting my white coat and got down on one knee right there! Needless to say I was very surprised but also incredibly happy!" Special moment:"The highlight of our wedding day was seeing each other at our first look. All of our stress and worries were immediately lifted and we both were just so happy to be by each other’s side. It’s a moment we will never forget." Wedding style:"We didn’t really have a theme, we just wanted to keep the decor simple. Our colors were mint green, navy and slate grey. I wanted something that would go well with Rich’s Air Force Mess Dress, and we wanted to make sure green was in our wedding since we got married on Saint Patrick’s Day!" Their wedding cake: "Cupcakes took the place of a traditional wedding cake at our wedding. Twisted Sisters Cupcakes in Virginia Beach supplied the cupcakes ... and man were they a hit at our wedding! They have the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted! I wish I had eaten more during the wedding but they were all gone before I could get seconds." A slight mishap: "We provided the alcohol for our wedding and had made a bulk order in advanced at a wine store close to our venue. The day before the wedding we showed up to the store and they had completely lost our order! So the entire wedding party went to a different store and we all ran around with shopping carts filling them with wine. At first it was stressful but everything worked out and in the end it was a fun adventure!" Honeymoon! "We went to Rome, Italy for our honeymoon and it was amazing! We had such a fantastic time learning about the history and immersing and ourselves in Italian culture (especially the food and wine)." Congrats on your gorgeous wedding, Annie and Rich, and thank you for sharing details of your Virginia Beach wedding with us!
