This suite is so adorable. And, here to talk about her inspiration behind her design is, Jen Daniels- Graphic Artist.
Jen- where did you find your inspiration?
I found a lot of my inspiration just by searching wedding blogs and noticing the trend in DIY weddings. Mason jars are an easy way to add a personal touch and character to a wedding and they can be used in so many different ways. They give such a sweet and charming feel to a wedding and I wanted to incorporate that feeling into the invite. The color inspiration came from the blue mason jar itself. I knew I wanted to work with a soft color palette to add to the charming, whimsical feel- so I just imagined what items would look like with the lights reflecting, if placed in the jar. And, I thought that adding the hearts to the inside of the jars would be a cute representation of fireflies. You combined the masons jar theme with the bold chevron pattern so beautifully ... Chevron is such a hot pattern right now and it can be seen everywhere so I thought why not incorporate two trends into one design. I think that the pattern is busy enough that it complements the soft interior of the invites, while adding a little punch.
