Married under a beautiful old oak tree--Beverly and Daniel's elegant southern wedding came true--complete with lovely lace, simple flowers, lemonade, and in a low-country setting. Gorgeous photos. Gorgeous couple!

Highlights of the day: Seeing each other for the first time ... the ceremony and vows ... having all of the people we love together to celebrate with us … the list goes on. It really was a perfect day!
Advice you'd like to give
Go with the flow, roll with the punches, be flexible … things beyond your control are going to happen, but you can always control your reaction. Our whole reception had to be moved inside after dinner because of rain, I forgot to bring the beautiful cake topper I bought, so we had to improvise with fresh flowers, and our seating chart didn’t quite work out as planned. Things go wrong, but we still had the time of our lives at our wedding because we decided that we were not going to let little things ruin our wedding day! So our advice is to go ahead and mentally prepare for that.
Advice you wished you took
I wish we had found room in our budget to hire a videographer. We have beautiful photos from our photographer and will cherish them always, but I still wish we had moving images of that day. It is such an important day that goes by so fast, so I think that having a video to look at years down the road is totally worth the cost.
Best part of the whole wedding day
Our first dance was the best part. That was the point where we were able to take a deep breath and enjoy the celebration with our family and friends. All the stressful stuff was over. The vows were done and we were finally married. It was a really special moment.
Advice you’re glad you took: We actually ate at our wedding! I am so glad that we sat down long enough at our reception to eat the fabulous meal prepared by our caterer.

They were so awesome! Choosing a caterer was the thing I was most nervous about, but when I met with Karen at Mai Oui she instantly made me feel at ease. From choosing a menu to helping with table placement, she was a great help at every step! The food was wonderful and they also did a lemonade station for us that turned out exactly the way I envisioned it!

We ordered our save the date magnets, invitations, and thank you cards from MagnetStreet. We loved the fact that we could customize everything and really make it our own. The tool was super easy to use and took all the stress out of what can potentially be a complicated task. I spent some time browsing other, similar sites and definitely thought the MagnetStreet customization tool was the best one. For our invitations, I was specifically looking for something with a tree because an oak tree was going to be the centerpiece of our ceremony. The Tender Tree design was perfect!
