Marsala Wedding Anyone?
As you know, Pantone recently came out with Marsala as their "Color of the Year." I for one, am pretty excited to see how this rich red-brown shade will be translated through wedding looks--from cosmetics to attire, florals and décor. Today's beautiful and creatively styled shoot from Makayla Jade Photography reminds us of how a Marsala wedding might look within a rustic style. {Fun fact: our gorgeous model is Karah, Makayla Jade's sister, and is actually wearing her mother's wedding dress from the 80's in this styled shoot.} That said, we love the creativity and freedom found in these images and how the combination of vintage and rustic come together for an earthy-organic, marsala-esque look and feel. That's what this "Color of the Year" feels like--a color you can get creative with with a landscape of opportunity to incorporate into your wedding. Are you a fan? How do you see Marsala being translated in wedding looks?
