We first met the stunning Kari and Matt here--when we featured their colorful Kansas City Engagement Session. From start to finish, it's fun to see Matt and Kari's hard work in planning pay off so beautifully. Kari looks amazing in her gown while artistic photos capture and reveal the romance, joy, tenderness and excitement of the day.

Highlights of the day:
The entire day was perfect! I cannot pinpoint any exact moment. I got to spend the day with all of the people I love and marry the man of my dreams.
Advice you wished you took:
I wish that we would have started hair and make-up earlier. We had each girl's hair and make-up planned out to the minute; however, a gift from my groom was sent to me, the girls had a gift for me, and after several visitors, we were way off on our timing--which forced us into "rush" mode.
Advice you’re glad you took:
I am so thankful that I took advice from my sister and did all of our photos before the ceremony. After the ceremony we took a trolley, filled with our wedding party, to our engagement location and took some fun photos. We were able to relax and have fun instead of worrying about photos.
Best parts of the day:
There are far too many!!! One would definitely have to be the "first reveal". We had a moment together, just the two of us, in the sanctuary before photos and the ceremony. The decade dance! Grandparents were dancing and claimed to have not danced together in about 20 years! They had so much fun and the looks on their faces were priceless! One of the flower girls fell asleep right before the ceremony and went down the aisle in a wagon, face first! As we entered the reception, we had each couple choreograph a few seconds worth of a dance- they were AWESOME! Then when my groom and I entered, we learned the entire party rock anthem dance and performed for the guests! Everyone loved it, as my husband is no dancer! They kept saying "he must really love her if he learned how to do that dance!"
Advice you’d like to give:
The bride and groom need to talk the entire day through, together! This way they are on the same page and can be calm in front of all of the guests. We went through each piece and every detail several weeks in advance. It made us both feel much better about the entire thing.
In their elegant style and signature deep purple, Kari and Matt personalized Signature of Love Pocket Wedding Invitation and Thank You Card design.

Meadows Images
Marshall Meadows was FANTASTIC! We could not be more please with our photos, as well as his efforts! He rode on the trolley with the entire wedding party, came in a day early to shoot the rehearsal dinner, and tied the bow on the back of my dress when it didn't look right! We highly recommend Marshall!
Luminosity Design
Our florist was Nicole, from Luminosity. She was AMAZING! A few weeks before the wedding, our original flower lady flopped- we found Nicole and she worked diligently to come up with a proposal for us. We had it within a few days, and 3 weeks later she was at our wedding setting up the most gorgeous flowers I have ever seen!
MagnetStreet Weddings
We designed our Save the dates, thank yous, and invites through MagnetStreet and we absolutely loved them! All of our guests raved about how neat and stylish our save the dates and invites were. We had fun changing the colors of each invite to see the best fit for us. We love that you can truly make it your own and see if before ordering. It helped a lot with decision making!
We felt that the Signature of Love design fit our personalities because our wedding was classic and elegant, yet we threw in modern and fun aspects, such as a photo booth. It was the first design we both looked at and loved, so we went with it!
Congratulations Kari and Matt!
