Beautiful couple, Ilinke and Shaun, hosted the most classy and stunning New Zealand wedding! We so love the details of their day, including the pretty pale pinks and mint green throughout the decor and flowers. And as you know, we love color! So of course we put together a pretty color palette inspired by their big day.
Ilinke shared a few details of their romantic story that we've sprinkled throughout their photos! Enjoy their New Zealand wedding day deets, and be inspired by their pretty color scheme.
How they met: "Shaun and I met through friends. One day he invited me for a walk on the beach and a coffee. To this day this has been our favorite thing to do; it's a peaceful activity that allows us to connect and spend quality time together. ~In high tides or low tides i'll be by your side~"
The proposal: "Shaun and I travelled with our family and friends to Wellington. I was getting admitted as a lawyer in the High Court of New Zealand. After my admittance we took a walk down the waterfront as the sun was setting; Shaun proposed at the love-lock bridge. There were bagpipes in the background by coincidence. He had a lock engraved and we threw the key in the sea and locked in our love. We got back to celebrate with friends and family. "
This is the Ethereal color palette from our Summer 2017 Color Trends collection along with a few invites that perfectly carry the color scheme.
Like their gorgeous wedding day, create your own ultra-feminine summer palette with pretty pinks and minty green! This mellow combination is perfect across any wedding style. Add in gold and crisp whites to modernize the look, or delicate roses and lace for a vintage feel. For a warm summer soirée, a pink and green wedding color palette is flowing with beauty and class.
Special thanks to the vendors for sharing Ilinke and Shaun's New Zealand wedding day!
