With eyes toward the sun, yellow is the color of the day. Pantone's version of yellow for fall is called Bamboo. It's a strong yellow with undertones of green. Yellows can be tricky if not paired correctly. It can appear too light, too dark, too green or too orange. Fortunately, we can pick our color combinations, and make the yellow shine just the way we want!
For starters, what do you think of this yellow & turquoise combination. Peacock and teal have the same green undertones that Bamboo already has. Because of that, they coordinate really well. The colors give off a sense of freshness and yet are still the bold colors we love.

When paired with eggplant, Bamboo's strength is really obvious. A lighter yellow would get completely washed out but Bamboo is up to the challenge. As a complementary color scheme, yellow and purple will always be vibrant with maximum contrast.

Of course, Bamboo shines as the main color. Paired with a nice neutral you really can't go wrong. Evoking happiness and joy is always a good idea for weddings.
