With the leaves soon turning, our wonderful world of green will be a memory until next year. So we'll revel in this season's green: Cedar. As a mid-tone green, Cedar can appear either dark or light depending on it's surroundings. It almost becomes neutral because it's a subdued dusty green tone.
First, we'll treat it as a light color in a monochromatic palette. You really can't go wrong with monochromatic colors. They blend really well and create a calm feeling. Cedar shows off nicely here as being full of light and air when compared to the deep greens.
Living Dream Save the Date Magnets
Cedar becomes a neutral when paired with a strong orange like Pumpkin. This combo really evokes the feeling of fall, without being cliché. Cedar serves as a nice backdrop for orange to pop out of.
Classic Allure Tea-length Wedding Invitations
Like a cool fall day, this color combination is crisp and it's a clean way to evoke the chilly mornings of fall. Again, Cedar almost becomes a neutral against the purples. This color scheme really uses the medium tone of Cedar to the extreme. You can read both the dark and light colored text on this invitation. What a versatile color!

If you're looking for that "perfect" shade of green, look no further. Use Cedar on both your Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations When personalizing in Design Studio, choose your color to edit, and select the tab for “custom colors”. Then move the sliders to get these values:
(M) Magenta = 27
(K) Black = 5
