We wish Season and Preston the best of luck as they continue planning their Cabo wedding! Proposal at the Pineapple Fountain "Preston and I went on a dinner date like any other normal date night. Date night just hadn't happened in a while due to many exciting other things such as buying a house in August and getting our very first fur-baby, a golden retriever puppy, Rutledge. Here in Charleston, SC we are known for our southern hospitality as well as amazing culinary. It's very hard to go anywhere and have a bad meal. We have a rule. When we have date night, we always choose somewhere we haven't been before." "He chose Anson for us on this special night. It was amazing. He told me we would go on a date night Friday, December 16th. He asked our friend Jake if he could watch Rutledge and then meet us downtown with him afterwards. I thought we were just dropping him off while we went to dinner and picking him up afterwards. We had a nice dinner at Anson's and nearing the end Preston text Jake that we were almost finished. He looked at me and said 'Jake brought Rutledge downtown to pick up girls and we will just go get him at the Pineapple Fountain.' I said OK." "Once there I walked over to Rutledge and Jake. As we said goodbye to Jake (he walked off briefly and stopped to play photographer for us, as well), Preston passed a card to Rutledge which he had no interest in ... so it laid on the ground next to him. As Preston got to one knee he said to me 'What's that?' I picked it up and said 'It's a card.' Preston was kneeling down and one hand in his pocket, 'well, what's it say?' As I read the words 'Will you marry my daddy?' with a small paw print underneath it, I broke into tears." Charleston Pineapple Fountain Engagement Session "Our engagement shoot took place in two different locations. Downtown ... mainly the Pineapple Fountain and Rainbow Row, as well as Sullivan's Island. I have always loved the Pineapple Fountain. Preston said that's why he chose the location; we always take a stroll down that way when we're downtown. Now it has so much more meaning to me and forever will. Sullivan's Island is our beach of choice here in Charleston. Sullivan's is set up by stations ... the station in particular we chose is our favorite because you can see downtown Charleston, Fort Sumter, and the Ravenel Bridge. It's gorgeous!" "After Preston proposed to me, I thought we were running by to see our best friends at a restaurant. When I walked in, I was once again completely surprised ... my family and friends were there to celebrate. After about 10 minutes, my brother and sister-in-law were waiting behind me. I turned around and LOST it, again. They took a red-eye Thursday night from California to be here to celebrate this amazing moment. My brother and sister-in-law said when Preston told him he was going to propose, there was no way they were going to miss such a special moment." Soon to Be Save the Date Magnet | MagnetStreet Weddings "I knew I wanted our save the date photo to be one with the sign I made, 'See y'all in Mexico!' It was only fitting to choose one on the beach since that's where we will be celebrating our special day. I honestly felt like I might have been 'that customer' when I was reviewing the proofs. I had a vision and I knew what I wanted. I wanted the pineapple on there to signify the very special moment of him proposing to me."
