Today's real wedding is one of MagnetStreet's lovely couples ... Stephanie and Shawn. Yay! I especially love to show off our couples! And, it's super fun to see how they personalized their wedding stationery to reflect their look and style.
There's a certain warmth to Stephanie and Shawn's wedding that I think will inspire and make you smile too~ from the uber-cool silhouette photo of Stephanie at the window, to the artistic centerpieces, to the pretty Victorian Lilac and Silver color scheme... beautiful indeed!
Venue Both the ceremony and reception took place at Beckwith Pointe in New Rochelle, NY and captured by Digital Weddings Photography. Save the Dates and Thank Yous Stephanie and Shawn personalized Show Your Stripes {classic size} for their Save the Date magnet and Black Fade for their Thank You note card. What a beautiful job they did of carrying the soft and regal color scheme from beginning to end. Stephanie, you're a beautiful bride and we thank you and Shawn for sharing your big day with us!
Enjoy!
About the decorations We didn't really like traditional floral centerpieces as they are so expensive so we got together with our florist and she helped us create three different centerpieces....the first was a small traditional floral center pieces using similar flowers to the bouquets... cool water roses, green hydrangea, and a lot of baby's breath and eucalyptus. The second was a series of 3 flower glasses filled with water and floating candles. The third was an over-sized wine glass filled with floral gel with purple led lights and orchids submerged in the gel. The decorations at the bar were clear acrylic boxes with martini glasses placed top of them. The martini glasses were filled with floral gel and had a small purple led light placed at the bottom of the glass and a cool water rose floating on top of the gel.
more about the day from Stephanie ...
favorite wedding day detail I absolutely loved the sand ceremony and the reading that we chose because they just made our ceremony so special.
best wedding day advice received If something goes wrong on your wedding day don't stress out. Let it be. It will either make for a unique aspect to your wedding or probably only be noticed by yourself.
advice you wished you would have taken Hire someone to make or put together your favors.
Stephanie's wedding day advice... Let someone handle the details come the wedding day. You don't want someone asking you 10 times "Do you want the candles on the tables or where to put your favors?" Someone should take over the plans for the day just so you can enjoy the day.
Thank you again Stephanie and Shawn for sharing your day with us! We wish you a lifetime of peace, love, joy and blessings!
