I'm delighted to bring you Claudia and Eric's real wedding today! The wedding look and feel hints at a bygone era~ one that's warm and intimate. The venue is The Inn at Lamberton Station and it's located in an historic town on the banks of the Delaware River. Isabel March of Isabel March Photography is the talented storyteller behind the lens.
The sparkles, the feathers, hairpiece, the short wedding dress {recall last week's post on short wedding gowns} all whisper vintage glam and are a wonderful complement to Claudia's sensibilities for their modern day wedding. Enjoy the fun and relaxed style of this adorable couple plus a few words from Claudia on her sassy short dress and glam accessories...
"I had no idea what kind of a dress I wanted, but I knew I wanted to feel comfortable in it. I went to Priscilla of Boston and tried on maybe 5 or so dresses (long and short). I fell in love with the one I ultimately bought and wore. I really liked the empire waste, it's length, the material (ivory satin), and the tulle at the bottom.
I didn't know I wanted a hairpiece until the woman I was working with at POB suggested it. When I put the hairpiece on with the dress, I knew I had found what I wanted to wear. The hairpiece is also POB.
As for the feathers on the clutch, I looked and looked for a clutch I liked and had a hard time finding one. I have always loved vintage looking clutches. I found a few vintage looking purses on etsy that I liked and narrowed them down to the one I ultimately chose.
I really liked the vintage feel of my dress, hairpiece, and purse. I think Eric's suit complemented the vintage look (though we didn't do that on purpose and actually, several people hold told Eric to go with a solid dark blue or black suit). I'm glad he went with the gray stripes."
Wow! Don't they look great... I love how everything came together so naturally! Thank you Claudia and Eric for sharing your big day with us! We wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness!
