Sarah and Walter met in Annapolis, had their first date in Annapolis and will be getting married in Annapolis. This historical city is also home to the United States Naval Academy--where Walter graduated from in 2009. Walter is a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy; he and Sarah will be having a military wedding at the Naval Academy chapel. The groom, groomsmen and Sarah's father will be all be in uniform.
Enjoy as our lovely and thoughtful bride-to-be shares details regarding their wedding style, non-traditional color scheme, and why they chose the Chalk it up to Love Save the Date Magnet design.
Wedding Style: Elegant Coastal/Nautical Chic
Wedding Colors: "The groom and groomsmen will all be in white uniforms. Because of that, I chose the bridesmaid dresses in the color “ocean”. It’s similar to a pale aqua/mint color. We’re also going to include other shades of pastel blues and greens. I didn’t want to use the typical navy blue theme that you always see for nautical weddings." Sarah
Engagement Session Locations: U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD and downtown Annapolis

Mini Save the Date Magnet: MagnetStreet Weddings
Sarah and Walter personalized Chalk it up to Love Mini Save the Date Magnet
Sarah had this to say about the design, "I was instantly drawn to the font style of Chalk it up to Love. The style was very modern and chic. I appreciated the simplicity of it. I think the font speaks for itself. We’re also addressing the envelopes with this nautical stamp."
Pro Shout Out
Natalie Franke Photography
Natalie is amazingly talented, but most of all she’s incredibly sweet. My fiancé contacted her before we got engaged. He was actually hoping to propose in Annapolis and have Natalie capture it; however, I was suspicious of this “random” trip to Annapolis. My best friend ratted me out, so he ended up proposing a few weeks earlier in Ft. Lauderdale, FL while we were on vacation.
We still went to Annapolis and that’s when we had our engagement session with Natalie. She was so fun to work with. This Christmas she sent us this beautiful homemade jar of honey as a gift. Not many photographers go through all that trouble for their clients. She’s definitely one of a kind. We’re thrilled to have her photograph our wedding this September.
MagnetStreet Weddings
MagnetStreet was marvelous to use. Our bridesmaid dresses are such a different color that it was hard to find anything that matched it. Once I saw MagnetStreet and realized that I could customize the color, I was sold. I especially loved the preview option--where you can purchase 1 magnet to see it in person {Just OneTM }The shipping was incredibly fast and the quality was fantastic.
