Today's Behind the Design inspiration features one of our newer designs: Love is in the Air. Emulating the look of Kraft paper, it celebrates a modern wedding with vintage touches. Here's Megan to share her inspiration behind this design.
"I love the possibility of an idea and how it lives in the back of my mind--just waiting to be created. That is where a hot air balloon design lived for many months. When the time came to finally put pen to paper, I couldn't decide if I wanted to go vintage or modern; but, I can happily say that I love the way this design turned out. I imagined a couple that appreciates a vintage look and enjoys the light-hearted moments of life. This couple is head over heels in love with each other and thrive on having fun! Their wedding is one with such simplicity that the creative elements amaze the guests. Love is in the Air wedding invitation is a beautiful way to introduce that style. With only a few simple design elements and fonts, the beauty lies in the details. This invitation features relevant travel-themed sayings and uses them to capture attention. To be swept away on your journey of love..."
