April and Brandon are such a lovable couple, and their engagement session at the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument in New Mexico is absolutely jaw-dropping. Between the captivating connection April and Brandon show and the dreaminess of the desert mountains ... you can't help but swoon over their desert mountain engagement session. We were super excited when they shared it with us after ordering their MagnetStreet Save the Dates!
The lovely couple each share a love for the mountains, and the Organ Mountains in Las Cruces, New Mexico is a hometown landmark that provided the perfect spot for their desert mountain engagement shoot. We seriously can't get over what a beautiful backdrop the desert mountains and sunset sky provided! Swoon over their session, check out their awesome save the date, and read more on their love story.
But first, here is their beautiful Save the Date Magnet, from the Soon to Be design suite!
"I love magnet save the dates, so we did a little research on which companies offered high-quality magnets for a reasonable price. The “Soon To Be Mr. and Mrs.” design immediately caught our eye, and the carrier cards were perfect to convey more information. The quality of the magnet and card are excellent!"
How they met
"We “met” on Facebook through a mutual friend and then met in person a month later in Santa Fe, NM—a halfway point between Las Cruces, NM (Brandon) and Colorado Springs, CO (April) where we each resided at the time."
The proposal
"Brandon proposed on May 13, 2016—Friday the 13th!—on top of Big Mountain Pass in the Wasatch Mountains near Salt Lake City, Utah. Our favorite little game is something called, “What if…” where we make up the silliest scenarios and ask the other person if they would still love the other if said scenario happened. But on May 13, Brandon got down on one knee and asked, 'What if…. I asked you to marry me?'"
Favorite photo
"That’s a hard question—we have so many! I think one of our favorites is the photo we chose for our Save The Dates because it has such a romantic vibe."
