We *heart* when MagnetStreet couples share their wedding days with us! Riley and Jimi's luxe destination beach wedding in Florida certainly doesn't disappoint. From toes in the sand, bright tropical flowers, sand dollars, sea stars, and beach wedding stationery that perfectly suited their day ... we'll let the photos from their dreamy destination beach wedding tell the story. Plus we're mixing it up a bit this time around, and letting you hear their story from the beautiful bride, herself. Their fabulously-talented photographers from Limelight Photography did an ahh-mazing job! The couple: Riley & Jimi How they met: Worked together at Apple Store in Michigan Wedding style:"Our wedding theme was all about the beach. I wanted bright bold tropical colors that would really pop out against the sand. Tropical flowers, sand dollars, sea stars and love!" Location: Sirata Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida "I knew I always wanted to get married on the beach at sunset. We were living in California when we got engaged but knew that it was going to be really far for everyone to travel there. So we decided that the Florida west coast was going to be the perfect place for us. Beautiful sandy beaches, picture-perfect sunsets, and it was centrally located for all our friends and family to get to. I started looking at places on The Knot and fell in love with the Sirata. They were very much a one-stop shop and I couldn't find a better private beach. So we booked with them right away and it was the best choice I could have made!" Their love story When Riley sets her mind to something, there is nothing that will stop her. Little did Jimi know, Riley had her sights firmly set on him. Shortly after the new year began in 2012, Riley and Jimi bonded over playing Words with Friends and other board games. Playing games led to seeing movies together, and that led to more dates together ... and before they knew it, they were an item. Traveling has been a big theme for these two. They have seen the splendor of Niagara Falls, wandered around the Badlands, saluted our Presidents at Mount Rushmore, and driven across the country... twice! The first stop on their adventures across the country was in San Francisco. They lived in the Bay Area for 3 years, working at various companies, drinking wine in Napa, and making frequent trips to Disneyland. Circumstances outside of their control forced them to move away from the Golden State, but they traded in the West Coast for the Gulf Coast, and upgraded from Disneyland to Disney World. Contrary to popular belief, they aren't at Disney World everyday, but it is difficult to stay away from the Magic Kingdom when they live in its backyard. In fact, it was at the Magic Kingdom where Jimi proposed to Riley on October 3rd, 2014. They were there on a vacation with Riley's grandma and grandpa. After a very hot day at the park, Jimi got down on one knee in front of the castle, where a stunned Riley said yes. A Sea of Love Wedding Invitation Sand, starfish, and waves rising onto shore capture the refreshing romance of a wedding by the sea with this rectangle wedding invite. A Sea of Love Place Cards adorned their dreamy reception space! Looking forward to married life ... We are most looking forward to getting settled back into life in Michigan and being with friends and family. Other wedding stationery pieces Riley and Jimi incorporated in their destination beach wedding day included Names Written In The Sand Menu Cards and Happily Ever After Thank You Cards. So lovely! We wish Riley and Jimi only the best as they embark on their life together! xoxo
