This elegant wedding comes to us from Mark Eric Weddings. From the ornate church, luxurious hotel and amazing florals, to the sweet sentiments of this military couple. Corey and Melissa knew each other in high school but were always just friends. That all changed the Christmas of 2009. Enjoy...
From our beautiful bride, Melissa, "Corey was on vacation from the military and I was on Christmas vacation from The University of Alabama. We ran into each other at a friend's graduation/Christmas party… and it was love ever since! I went to visit him a few times in San Diego and he visited me in college. He moved to Virginia Beach where I continued to visit him as often as possible. We finally got engaged October 9, 2011 when he was on leave from deployment in Afghanistan! Corey is a Navy Seal.

Something Meaningful. Something Blue.
My favorite memory was seeing a piece of the scrubs my dad wore when I was born sewed into my dress. It was so meaningful as my dad passed away from Lewy-Body Dementia in September 2010.
Bridal Attire
Melissa wore the Katarina dress by Winnie Couture,Jimmy Choo shoes and the necklace she wears everyday: the Navy SEAL Trident that Corey gave her before his first deployment.
The Bouquet
Ivory roses, mini callas, peonies, and fringed tulips. The bouquet handle was wrapped with lace.
"The flowers were on of my favorite parts of the wedding." Melissa
Memorable Moments
We had amazing food! Non-stop dancing! My best friends dad gave the sweetest toast. My husband said a wildly inappropriate comment on stage, in the microphone! It was actually hilarious!
Simply stunning! Congratulations and thanks for sharing your day with all of us!!
And, thank you for your service Corey!
