I'm very excited to present Nick and Julie's wedding photos today! Julie is as sweet as they come and just so happens to be one of MagnetStreet Weddings' Customer Care Specialists.
Julie and Nick's Greek Orthodox wedding was full of tradition, family and celebration... just read the touching details described by Julie below... so inspiring and full of joy! Enjoy.
"The highlights of the wedding day were following some of the old traditional ways. Nick and I didn’t see each other most of Saturday until I walked down the aisle and then seeing his face for the first time~ that was a great feeling. It was like he was waiting there for me at the end.
The best part of the reception was being announced as Mr. and Mrs. Drakopoulos for the first time. That was the best feeling in the world and just knowing that all these people were there to share your day and to wish you nothing but the best.

Savvy planning advice
Spread your time out as best you can the week of your wedding. We did our rehearsal dinner on Friday and Wedding on Sunday. It was great to have that one day to try to relax and spend time with out of town guests.
Make sure your venue has all that you want. We are still getting calls about how great the food was and how accommodating the hall was. Get things done according to the time lines offered really kept us focused and on top of things. I felt that the week of the wedding was stressful but then I was able to relax and wind down a bit on Friday and Saturday because everything was in order. Make use of the people you know {wink wink}. I had great compliments on my programs alone {yes, MagnetStreet Weddings created the Programs}. Since we had a Greek Orthodox Ceremony a lot of my Catholic family were still able to follow along because I had laid everything out in the programs. I felt those were the most helpful part of our ceremony.
The best part of the day was marrying my best friend! When it comes down to it, all the planning doesn’t matter, it’s the actual ceremony and then enjoying yourself at your reception. It was also great to have our two families be joined. I never wanted the day to end. At one point at the reception, someone told me to take a minute~ look out at the entire room and take a mental picture of it all. I did that and to this day, I remember how the hall looked with the lights and flowers and all my guests in one room. I will never forget that feeling~ of looking out on everyone and them looking back at me with a smile."
Wow. Beautifully said. I love that... take a mental picture so you never forget. Congratulations to you both. We wish you much happiness and joy! And, thank you for sharing your big day with us! xo
