oh.my.word. Talk about an absurdly sweet spring garden engagement photo session with Kristina and Shawn! Their photo shoot at Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring, Maryland definitely sets a playfully romantic scene. Brookside Gardens boasts 50 gorgeous acres of award-winning and unique gardens, making it a fantastically floral-filled location for local couples!
With the flowers in bloom all around, Kristina looked oh-so-gorgeous in her flowing coral dress with her groom looking dapper in a simple grey button-up. And throughout the session, they did a couple quick outfit change for some more laid-back poses ... great idea to to get a another vibe going for your session. The bright hues of the flowers are a lovely complement to to couple {those fire-red flowers are ahh-mazing!}
Now if I may, let me offer a few bits wisdom as you get your e-session lined up this year!
- Capture up close details of the surrounding landscape {like the dreamy pink flowers in Kristina and Shawn's session}, then use those photos as chic wall art in your home. It'll most certainly make for a memorable piece of art in your new home together!
- Rain, snow (blizzard?!), or shine - make the most of any weather event! {Of course, no matter what - safety comes first!} I'm inclined to say to not cancel your shoot if conditions to get there to and fro allow. But really, roll with the punches, make a date out of it, and your photos are sure to be epic!
- Be spontaneous While we all need a few "posed" poses to frame for the relatives ... candid, unplanned shots are the most natural way to show off your personalities. Check out more engagement photos poses here!
