Choosing your wedding colors... so fun! And besides saying "yes" probably one of the easiest decisions to make. Often times, the wedding colors are based on favorite colors or the season of the wedding, but then there is still the consideration of choosing the final hues.
Take for instance, this lovely palette of yellow and gray~ a combination of golden and bright yellows paired with varying shades of gray for a soft, elegant and timeless look.
What's in a hue? The tone you want to evoke.
Lighter yellows will evoke a softer, sweeter mood while brighter yellows will evoke higher energy and surprise! Lighter grays are practical and subdued and become more formal as the shade moves toward charcoal. And, since your invitation will set the tone of your event, consider not only your wedding colors but the hues themselves to evoke the mood.
