Don't let the prospect of rain put a damper on your big day!
Just prepare for it!
Before everything else, getting ready is the secret to success. {Henry Ford}
Plan A. No rain. Proceed as planned.
Plan B. Rain. Proceed as planned.
1. Talk to your photographer. Ask them about their plan in the event it sprinkles or downpours. Chances are they will be fully prepared with all the extra equipment they need~ {if you're really lucky, they might have umbrellas for the wedding party too!} Prepare a Plan B with your photographer~ hugely important! Have faith in your photographer to document your day just as beautifully...
2.Rent a sturdy tent or a gazebo if any part of the wedding is outside and there isn't shelter nearby.
3. Have towels available for the guests if rain is likely.
4. Fun rain-gear~ perhaps rain jackets, wellies, and umbrellas available for the wedding party {keep them dry plus get super cute photos}.
5. How else can you prepare?
While there's nothing you can do about the weather...
Your day is still your day... to be enjoyed, savored and documented in a most extraordinary way!
p.s. someday I'll tell you the story about a family member whose wedding took place on a boat whereby a huge scary storm came out of nowhere. All the guests in her wedding photos have life jackets on. Even so, they are cool photos.
