Search for the perfect dress
"My mother, father, and mother-in-law went to a small boutique and the first dress I put on, I just felt amazing! I tried on a bunch of dresses afterwards, but just couldn’t stop comparing them to that first dress. So, I put it back on and just felt amazing! It solidified it for me when my mother starting crying. It was an amazing moment!"
Something borrowed, blue, old, and new
"My new was my dress and veil (my mother made my veil!). Old and borrowed were my necklace and earrings, which were my grandmothers. And I had a blue garter."
A first date and a proposal
"We met using match.com. I had just signed up, and he messaged me asking to go rock climbing for our first date and I couldn’t say no! We were inseparable from that point forward. For our proposal, we went to Niagara Falls for my birthday. The following day, we walked around admiring the falls and taking pictures. We were deciding what we wanted to do next when he turned to me, got down on one knee and proposed! I was so surprised and so happy!"
Highlight of the day
"The best part was walking down the aisle to see my soon-to-be husband (his response was seeing me walk down the aisle!) Our wedding was so fun and special, but we both also really liked the end of the night when we were able to come home, relax and just enjoy being newly married!"
"My favorite photo from the day is one after we are married and walking back down the aisle as a newly married couple!"

"We had a small cake ... yellow cake with chocolate frosting. We also had cupcakes, so that we could have all the different flavors we wanted and ensure all of our guests would have something they liked."
Advice to couples planning their weddings
"Have the wedding you want to have, because it is your day. Also, take breaks from planning to spend quality time with your husband (or wife) to be and talk about things other than the wedding. This will keep you sane."
