by: The Pantone Color Institute announced in December that they deemed Classic Blue (PANTONE 19-4052 to be exact) as the 2020 Color of the Year. And this blue hue is just that—classic—and tranquil and ever-so-beautiful. Classic blue is the new black these days, so you can’t go wrong with how, when, or where to incorporate it.
Studies have shown blue has a positive effect on our brains, which makes it an obvious choice to incorporate into weddings of any and all styles! It’s such a versatile hue across all seasons, too … including late summer as in this photo shoot.
We fell in love with all the details of this gorgeous harvest-inspired wedding shoot. (In fact, we loved it so much that it inspired one of our Summer 2020 Color Trend palettes!) Classic blue is splashed throughout the linens and tablescape, offset by rich warm pinks, peaches, ivory, and light green. Antique colored-glass goblets, bowls, and other colorful crystal pieces create a vintage space. Lush rich florals in shades of bright red, peach, and burnt sienna fill tall vases to make a wow-worthy statement.
