This centerpiece was sent in by a reader who gushed about the centerpieces at a recent wedding she attended. " The centerpieces at the reception were gorgeous...approximately 36" cylindrical "vases" with a long stem of deep pink orchids floating in water. At the top of the cylinder was a lampshade, covered in hot pink shantung silk. Stunning!" (I discovered that~ Shantung silk is a type of silk that comes from the Shantung province in China). I can tell they were "stunning"...
