Chocolate Love

I must confess that I have been and may always be in love with chocolate brown.  It’s still very much an “in” color for weddings, mostly because it just has so many personalities!  Pair it with champagne for sophistication, blue for classic intimacy, and the ever feminine pink for chic and whimsy.

Whether you choose to play up brown in a significant way for your wedding or just add some dainty little touches, I’ve got a great idea for a sweet, sweet, sweeeeet favor….small demitasse spoons dipped in chocolate, then wrapped with cellophane in the color of your choice and a coordinating ribbon!  Check out the variety that Gourmet Coffee Express offers.

Getting some ideas?  This could be a part of a larger chocolate theme with the ever-popular chocolate fountain and fresh fruits to dip, individual chocolate cakes, chocolate candies and even chocolate hors d’oevres!

For us chocolate lovers, you can never have too much chocolate!

There’s no better culinary delight than to pair chocolate with, you guessed it, coffee.  Consider a coffee bar complete with cappuccino’s, latte’s and real hot cocoa, giving your guests the option to add kaluha or bailey’s.

And, serve white chocolate martini’s . . . ooohh, la la la!

Provide peppermint stir sticks for that little extra bit of flavor, and we’re talkin’ one sweet, delish party.

But back to the darling demitasse spoons with luscious chocolate . . . the trend in wedding favors is to give something your guests can use later, and these tasty delicacies fit right in.  Just think, whenever they stir a coffee or tea drink with that precious little spoon, they’ll think of your wedding and how great it was.  Maybe they’ll even give you a call and you can catch up.

What other little touches could you add to complete your chocolate brown theme?

Chocolately yours,
Cheryl
