Classic Military Wedding with Teal Accents

We have a pretty military wedding with teal and silver accents for you today. Rochelly, our beautiful bride, looked amazing in her lace, off the shoulder grown while our groom, Omar, looked handsome and polished in his US Navy dress whites. Their lovely ceremony was held in a magnificent venue and concluded with an Arch of Swords ceremony that featured two members from each branch of the military. After the ceremony, the newlyweds spent a few hours at the University of Tampa taking portraits with their families and wedding party. They also managed to sneak in a few romantic shots with just the two of them! So much pretty--from ceremony grandeur to gorgeous florals and sweetly captured moments... Enjoy!

Best part of the whole wedding day
The best part was marrying the man of my dreams!! It was so magical. At the University of Tampa we said our vows to each other because we wanted it to be a private moment and it was simply amazing. That was the best part of the day.

Advice you wished you’d taken
Everyone I know that has gotten married told me the day would fly by and I believed it. They told me to take in every moment and not to stress! I wish I had stopped more often on my wedding day to take it all in. I was so occupied with making sure everything was perfect that sometimes I forgot to breathe.

Advice you’d like to give
On your wedding day ... kiss each other, hold each other, and say sweet things to each other. This day is all about the two of you and nobody else. Everyone else is there to enjoy and share in your happiness but at the end of the day it is all about you.

Also, no matter how expensive your wedding is, go on a honeymoon! Even if it is two towns over in a motel, make sure you get away! Our honeymoon was the best week ever and we had no worries about anything until we got back. It was the best!

Advice you’re glad you took
Our florist was incredible and was sort of like a wedding planner. We only met with her twice before the wedding but she reminded us of so many little details that hadn't thought of like asking for a cake stand, having all of our accessories ready, how to decorate the sweetheart table, etc…

Wedding Pro Shout Out

Richard Harrell Photography
Richard Harrell was amazing! He did our engagement shoot as well and instantly made us feel comfortable. He was so creative and wanted to do more. He is totally worth every penny. Our wedding photos are phenomenal.

Publix Supermarkets
We got our cake from Publix Supermarkets and it was out of this world amazing. It was seriously the most beautiful cake I have ever seen and it tasted AMAZING. Everyone loved it. Their customer service is amazing as well and I wouldn't recommend any one else for wedding cakes.

Arlene Floral Design
Arlene Floral Design was a blessing on our wedding day. The church, cocktail hour, and reception hall looked like they were out of a magazine. Arlene went above and beyond to provide us with the best service possible. All the flowers were fresh and so beautiful and all of the details were perfect. She did a ceiling draping in our reception hall making it look like out of a movie. She is the best!

Cinemedia
Steve from Cinemedia was our videographer and he is out of the Orlando area. I haven’t received my video yet but I know it will be amazing. He was awesome to work with.

Alegria’s Brides {wedding gown}
It was amazing. I felt like a princess!  It was an A-line dress with extra poof at the bottom that gave it a princess look and all lace. It was off the shoulder so it had a little sexy in it as well but so elegant and classic.

MagnetStreet Weddings
I loved it! I love that I could pick a design that I liked and I was able to personalize it to fit mine and my husband’s personalities and style. Their customer service was awesome! I was able to ask questions and make adjustments without a problem. The price was very affordable for such good quality. That is why we got our thank you cards from them too. Everything was so beautiful and the process was so easy.

Full Photo Save the Date design
For the save the dates we knew we wanted to only do one picture that we really liked. We wanted a very clean look that emphasized us and our style--which is why we went with that particular design. We were able to change the font and color to make it more us and it was perfect.

Life of Luxury Thank You Card design
The same goes for the thank you cards. We wanted one particular picture on it so we browsed for designs with one picture and then customized it to fit our style. What I love about Magnetstreet is that they have so many different options and designs and make it so easy for you to fit your style!
