Enchanting and Elegant Neutral Wedding

Enchanting & Elegant Neutral Wedding

Our handcrafted fall wedding features Rachel and her new husband, Joe! Theirs was an elegant neutral wedding--with bridesmaids in mix and match dresses and groomsmen in gray suits, bow ties and suspenders. Dressed in a flowing, ivory sheath, Rachel couldn't have been a more beautiful bride {and even when wearing flannel, too}. We adore how this family-oriented and creative couple paired simple elegance with playful details ... like their post-ceremony photo shoot in the woods when the ladies were flannel-clad for the cool September weather. So fun! Rachel designed all of their Wedding Stationery items--and we're excited to share those with you too. Charming. Alluring. Organic. Enjoy as Rachel shares some of the highlights from their big day.  Wedding Style: Natural & Organic | Elegant Forest-esque Colors: Neutrals, mostly browns & tans Ceremony: Berea Lutheran Church Reception: Welch Village PhotographerEmily Schmidt Photography Stationery: MagnetStreet Weddings Sunlit wedding photo  Highlights from the day... From Rachel... Besides getting to marry my best friend, the whole day was amazing. Being announced as Mr. and Mrs. was the moment I most looked forward to. It was so incredible to see all of our friends and family there who had traveled and made time to come celebrate with us. We are beyond blessed to have all of these wonderful people in our lives! Seeing everyone hanging out and watching them playing lawn games at our reception was one of the highlights of the day for me. From Joe... Seeing Rachel walk down the aisle and spending the day with friends and family. Ivory wedding dresses hanging in the trees Advice you're glad you took... Stop every once in a while and look around, because the day goes by so fast! Appreciate the family, friends and love that is all around you. First Look wedding photo About their custom Wedding Stationery... I designed our Wedding Invitations, Programs and Thank Yous and had them printed here at MagnetStreet. It was so much fun to actually design my own wedding stationery and I loved seeing how it all came together. We carried the clean and organic feeling through the rest of the suite as we did with the Save the Dates. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to have a lot of pieces and enjoyed picking out the right products that made up the whole suite. I stamped all of the pieces with gold specks which made all of the difference and I love how each piece was just a little bit different! Creating all the paper products for our wedding was one of the most fun things for me as we were planning! Our very favorite piece was “Our Story” that Joe and I had written and used as the main centerpieces on the tables- it was fun to be able to share that with our guests. Custom Wedding Stationery from MagnetStreet Advice you'd like to give... Your wedding is one day, and while it’s a great day- always remember that your main focus is that you are getting married and that is absolutely the best part. I haven’t looked back once and regretted how we did anything for the wedding, because now we are married and that is worth so much more! It meant a lot to us to be able to include our friends and family in our wedding. Joe's dad married us and one of my bridesmaids, Katie, made all the cakes for the wedding. We asked a good friend be our DJ for the night and Luke did a great job keeping the dance floor full. My dad is awesome and helped me make all of the wood items we used on the table! The candle-holder and little picture and place card holders turned out so great and I’m excited to be able to use them in our house. The antlers were Joe’s dad’s and it was special to be able to incorporate those into the wedding. So many people were willing to help out and really make the day special for us that we are thankful beyond words. Wedding Pro Shout Out

Emily Schmidt Photography Emily killed it! She’s got mad skills and was so great to work with. Being a designer, it was really tough to not want to direct all creative aspects of the day, but I totally trusted Emily and loved not having to worry about that. That was a huge relief for me and made all the difference! I knew that she had everything taken care of. We have basically the same style and it was a lot of fun hanging out with her taking pictures. I love how she captured our day and we will be thankful for her photos for years to come! Mike Demos Catering Mike Demos Catering did our food at Welch Village and wow, it was amazing! We are seriously still dreaming of those garlic mashed potatoes. He was really easy to work with and really made all of our planning easier. Congratulations Rachel & Joe! Thank you both for sharing your beautiful big day with us--best wishes! XO Love Rachel's custom Wedding Invitation suite? Check out Rachel and Joe's rustic engagement session.
