What were a few highlights from your big day?
Oh my gosh I really can't pick just a few... the whole day was perfect (I know it sounds cliche).
- We got so lucky with the weather, it being the beginning of May, it ended up being perfect.
- Our ceremony was pretty important and the party after was great.
- It was amazing to be surrounded by everyone we love... and know that they were all there because of us!
What advice are you glad you took?
"Don't stress about the little things because in the end they don't matter and people won't notice" I was also told that I would be the only one looking at everything really closely (I made our invitations and cake topper... I knew they weren't 100% perfect but others probably didn't notice.)
What advice would you like to give?
Remember that it's your day--stay true to what you and your fiance want. Many people will give you advice on everything ... listen and smile but in the end, do what's right for you (but at the same time, be open to what others say, as you might actually like their ideas/perspective.)
What was the best part of the whole wedding day?
Getting to say "I have a husband" and "I'm a wife".
Dress Swoon
I absolutely looooooove my Maggie Sottero "Quinlynn"dress! I actually first saw it online and fell in love with it. I had to call a number of stores around CT to locate it and try it on. I was afraid I wouldn't like it once I put it on, but I loved it! I didn't want to take it off (which I took as a sign that it was the one).
