I love the crispness of black and white, the flourishes of the font, the great New York photography, and its classic design. My favorite element is the type treatment of "A New York Wedding," seen best on the Slender Vellum Bands. The inspiration was an upscale New York wedding. It drove the colors (black and white is always classy) and the font choice (flourished for classiness, and the sans serif has a touch of 1930's retro). The style of this invitation definitely speaks volumes about the wedding itself; it's one I would definitely want to attend!

Antique Rose Vintage Meets Modern

I wanted to present an overall vintage feel for this design and found that this script gives it almost a renaissance feel. The left justification of the text maintains a clean look to the overall design. The rose illustration has a distressed look to it that compliments the vintage feel, but also gives it a romantic touch. One thing that I really like about the design... is how the wedding date and elements look on the adhesive seal. It's such a unique and pretty way to seal up the invite.

Signature of Love Bold and Dramatic!
a few words from designer Lindsay...
The bold and graphic elements make this design very contemporary. I love the red swirl! And, I love the use of the names for a "monogram" and how they look within the swirl. The black border sets off the pure white interior giving this design a high contrast and modern look.
