Let me just say- what a beautiful couple Heidi and Brad make and that their vintage-chic New Orleans wedding was s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g! Gorgeous, glamorous and glowing with warmth and rich history. From their 19th century Gothic church venue with 95' high ceilings, to the incredible sophistication of their reception venue at Latrobe's in the charming French Quarter of New Orleans ... the architecture is hand-crafted amazing and a complete visual treat! Here is Heidi to give us highlights from their big day!
The whole day was amazing! Honestly, the best day of my life!
From start to finish the day was a BLAST! The best part of our wedding, hands down, was getting to see all our family! It was a destination wedding so it was nice that everyone was able to come together and celebrate our wedding weekend with us!
Two other highlights of the night would have to be the second line (New Orleans parade tradition)!!! There is nothing like having your own parade filled with all of your friends and family! It was so unique and fun:)
Also, having a photo booth at the reception was a riot! It kept everyone interacting and goofing off and the pictures were an amazing keepsake for us to take home!
Best part of the whole wedding day Getting married of course! And! Having our family there to celebrate with you.
Advice you’re glad you took Special little 'extras' make the day that much more unique, so pay attention to details and have fun in the planning stage:) This was good advice and brought me and my family together for fun dyi project nights.
Advice you wished you took I should have listened when people told me I should have wore my hair up, it got hot with it down!!
Advice you’d like to give On the day of try not to get caught up with all the little things, it is too short of a day!! So just go with the flow and enjoy every minute! A wedding is a celebration of love, so CeLeBrATE, and have the best night of your life!
