Here's why we're dishing for Dana~ in a nutshell.
Dana has an autoimmune disease called Uveitis and her immune system doggedly attacks her eyes causing inflammation, visual disturbances and blurriness. It is incurable and will cause blindness if left untreated.
Her surgeries and ongoing care (even with health insurance) have left piles of bills in their wake, and she is now at a point where, without help, she cannot pay for her medical care. Read the whole story here.
How can we help Dana?
An Online Fundraiser While it's better to give, you will also receive. They're compiling comfort food recipes in exchange for donations. There are also incentives for varying levels of donation.
The goal is to raise a minimum of $22,000 {with $2,000 of that going to the American Autoimmune Related Disease Assoc.} And, so far the total is over $10,000. AMAZING!
