Color Monday: Independence Day Combos

In honor of the Fourth of July, we'll be exploring a few different red, white, and blue color combinations for today's Color Monday. Using Effortless Emblem wedding program design, these patriotic colors can be applied in all sorts of unique ways and on different wedding programs or wedding invitation templates. Let's see what fun options there are for the Fourth!

Obviously we must start with a classic red and classic blue combination. Both bold colors stand out on a field of white. How iconic and patriotic!

But perhaps we want a slightly different combination ... Well, let's try a baby blue with a deeper brick red. The two colors play off each other very nicely. Having one color be light while the other dark is a good color strategy and works well for all sorts of color combinations.

How about a darker cherry red? This bold hue looks great paired with a strong navy blue. With two deep colors like this, the bordering white in this design really pops with a clean, crisp look. The deep colors suggest a more formal affair--beautiful for a military wedding.

Or perhaps sky blue is your color. Pairing the two light blues of ice and sky with ruby red, looks cool, crisp and delicious. It has a sophisticated look yet it's playful too. Just think of all the ways you can have light blue tones and then add those fun pops of red: table linens with red napkins, or blue bridesmaid dresses and red rose bouquets. Fun!

Maybe a berry red is more to your liking? When this strawberry red is paired with the medium-toned breeze blue, strawberry takes center stage. There is nothing traditional about this combo!
