I love playing with color to create different moods. Many colors inspire me—especially the hottest hues of the upcoming fall season. Using Pantone's 2011 fall color palette, I'm going to show how you can create color combinations with today's top colors. For today, I'm going to show you my visual "ode" to Pantone's Color of the Year: Honeysuckle.
Described as a reddish pink, Honeysuckle is playful and pretty, yet not too "girly". This shade is feminine and bold at the same time. To show it off, I've personalized a few Save the Date Magnets with this striking hue.
For a delicate look, try pairing Honeysuckle with soft greens. Together they create a relaxing, romantic tone for your wedding.
Prefer a little more pizazz? Capitalize on the energy of Honeysuckle by combining it with oranges. The warmth of the colors sets the expectation for a fun-filled event. These bright pops of color will put everyone in a happy mood!
Pink and black—how perfect is that? Honeysuckle updates this color combination, offering a softer, more harmonizing feel than the expected hot pink hue. However, Honeysuckle still maintains that energy we love in this classic color combo.
