Real Wedding: Nate and Nalie

Congratulations to Nalie and Nate who tied the knot June 19th! Captured by Twin Cities photographer, Fong Cha of FoCha Studio their gorgeous, peacock-themed wedding was brilliant with color.  Here are Nalie's fave pics and rendering of their big day... Enjoy!

Favorite wedding moment: Speeches. We are both very close to our family and friends; it made us feel so loved to hear such thoughtful and wonderful words from them. My Dad’s speech really made it feel like our two families were coming together with open arms.

Highlights: People loved the peacock feathers! We received lots of compliments on how unique they were- also the origami place card holders and the elephant candles. The peacock boutonnieres looked really good with the guy’s suits and the flowers turned out great against the girl’s dresses. There was always someone on the dance floor—yah! Lots of compliments on the hors d’oeuvres, dinner and mid-night snack . Both our family and friends got along great….partying together until closing time.

Planning advice: Delegate! Don’t try to do everything yourself. Also, get a really great and dependable personal attendant. Mine was invaluable in helping with everything (and everyone) and keeping me looking good for all the flashing cameras!

Most concerned about: Photobooth. I did it myself on my laptop and printer. I feared the computer would break down or the printer would stop working. But it worked out awesome! I hired my sister's friends to work it and they did an awesome job. Everyone loved it!

Congratulations Nate & Nalie! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely wedding with the world. We wish you much joy and happiness!

Nalie designed their Save the Date and Carrier Card as well as their Invitation suite {gorgeous!} from MagnetStreet Weddings. They chose the  Tea-length linen paper invite with RSVP Card.  Additionally, they also used the Tea-length Invitation type for their Programs.
