Photographer: Owen Kinney, a family friend {OKinney@DarlingtonSchool.org}. He is a naturally friendly and fun person, so our shoot was very carefree and relaxed. We had told him our main goal was to get a save the date shot with our dog Lucky, her four puppies and my plan for their signs. He went from there--setting up the shots to make it work! We are a very laid-back couple and I feel that Owen really captured that!

Can you tell us about your engagement location?
My fiancé is a cattle farmer and we were in one of his farm pastures under a gorgeous old tree, which is also where we will have the wedding! Not long after proposing, my fiancé informed me that he thought we should be "married and buried" under that tree, so that's how the location choice was made! We also took some shots on an old iron bridge not far from the wedding location in Armuchee, GA
We wanted to have the wedding somewhere that no one else had been or would ever be married at again, so it would officially be "Our Wedding Tree."
